Time To Kill

A thriller by Leslie Darbon
Performed in November 1992
Faringdon Community Theatre, The Pump House, Faringdon
Directed by Beryl Rees

The action of the play is in the house of Don and Maggie Parkes.

Anita Graham, a housewife who does not have a clue as to what is going on is quite happy to continue knitting while the world falls to pieces around her. Seemingly vague, she is caught up in the shenanigans erupting in the oh so classy Henley on Thames.

Maggie, married to a highly successful businessman sets out to prove the local Lothario is responsible for her friend’s supposed suicide. The chief suspect is duped into making a pass at her and finds himself handcuffed to a chair facing a peremptory court complete with judge and prosecuting council. Maggie’s husband returns home unexpectedly to find himself caught up in the home spun court proceedings.
