The Odd Couple

A comedy by Neil Simon
19-21 May 2011
Faringdon Junior School
Director: Marianna Raho

This most famous of Simon's plays tells the story of two 40-something friends who suddenly find themselves single and sharing an apartment on the upper Westside of Manhattan. ODD COUPLE is a classic situation comedy of two friends who become mismatched room mates, one neat and uptight, the other more easygoing and slovenly. Hilarity ensues when these mismatched roommates, their unsuspecting friends, and two charming Spanish neighbours expect life to go on as normal, and it’s a toss-up to see if the friends will survive!
