Heroes (Le Vent Des Peupliers) is a 2005 play by French dramatist Gérald Sibleyras, translated and adapted by Tom Stoppard. A Parisian boulevard comedy about three men: an idealist, a pragmatist and a fence sitter. Heroes is a play set in August 1959 in a home somewhere in France for retired military men - all veterans of the French army in the First World War.

The audience will be invited to arrive at 7pm to share in a French supper (one drink included) and curtain up will be at 8pm. Tickets will be £10 (concessions £8) to include supper. Drinks will be available before hand so patrons can enjoy a drink during the performance. There will also be the usual refreshments and raffle during the interval.

Auditions will be held on Monday 12 July at the United Reform Church starting at 8pm. Performances will be on November 11, 12 and 13 to coincide with Remembrance weekend.
