The action of the play is in the sitting room of Alan and Maggie Parkes’ house on the Riverside Park Estate, Maidenhead during the 1970’s.

Riverside Park Estate, close to Henley, reeks of affluence and the good life. Home to business executives, company directors, successful self-employed and their wives, life here is idyllic. But beneath this veneer lurks a seething cauldron of resentment, jealousy and betrayal. The ladies of Riverside Park have too much time on their hands. They set out to prove the local Lothario is responsible for a friend’s supposed suicide; who then finds himself handcuffed to a chair facing a peremptory home spun court complete with judge and prosecuting council.
