Original Pantomime Scripts
Many of the pantomimes staged by Faringdon Dramatic Society (FDS) were written by members of the society themselves. These have been highly commended in the playwriting competitions held by the Oxfordshire Drama Network (ODN) and the National Operatic and Dramatic Association (NODA).
All of these pantomimes have been written with the aim of providing a show which is enjoyable for both audience and cast, and which is simple and affordable to stage for theatre groups with limited facilities and resources. Each script contains all the traditional elements of pantomime, and although suggestions are made for music the choice is down to directors. Costumes & Props
We are often complimented on the excellent quality of the stage set, make-up and costumes used in our productions. You may be surprised to hear that all are created specially ‘from scratch’ for each production by the hard working ‘behind the scenes’ members of our society. Some of them may be available for hire, so contact us with details of your requirements.
We have some ‘white legs’ for hire, as shown here for our pantomime – ‘The Snow Queen’.
